The Federal Government don summon Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) plus Dangote Refinery management make dem come urgent meeting because wahala don burst between di two sides.

Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Yusuf Dingyadi, warn say di fight fit spoil economic balance and even affect national security. Him beg PENGASSAN make dem hold on dia strike plan so government fit settle di matter for peaceful ground.

“Through our Trade Union Services and Industrial Relations Department, we don invite PENGASSAN leaders and Dangote Refinery management come my office on Monday for reconciliation meeting,” di Minister yarn.

Di Minister remind dem say oil and gas sector na di backbone of Nigeria economy. Any strike go cause heavy revenue loss for government and wahala go land for citizens’ head.

Patience Onuobia, spokesperson for di Ministry, quote am: “If PENGASSAN strike start, e go bring plenty hardship for Nigerians, loss of revenue and wahala wey go affect both economic stability and national security.”
