According to am, “No be just to showcase product. Na strong message say Nigeria dey enter new era of clean mobility. Electric vehicles go open new jobs, new industries and new opportunities for our people.”
Ekpo still talk say the Ministry of Petroleum Resources dey work to promote gas as transition fuel and ensure say better technology reach Nigerians so transport go cheap for ordinary people.
E assure Nigerians say the electric buses no be for ceremony; dem go start to run this week and spread reach many states before Christmas.
PiCNG Chairman, Ismael Ahmed, talk say the 40 electric buses signal new beginning for cheap and clean transport for the country.
“This na clean energy, affordable energy and available energy,” he talk. “The important thing na make transport price come down for the ordinary Nigerian.”
Ahmed yan say PiCNG go power charging stations with CNG and from January 2026, dem go open five LCNG stations for Kano before moving go Kaduna, Gombe, Maiduguri and Katsina.
He add say PiCNG dey work to make transport cheap, stable and safe for everybody.
