Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) don inaugurate special legal team to challenge results of Saturday Area Council election for Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

PDP Raise Alarm Over Irregularities

For Bwari Area Council, Joshua Ishaku of APC win with 18,466 votes, defeating ADC and Zenith Labour Party candidates.

In Abaji, APC candidate Umar Abubakar secure 15,535 votes to defeat Young Progressives Party candidate wey poll 5,357 votes, while PDP come third with 4,547 votes.

The election wey cover six chairmanship and 62 councillorship seats reportedly witness low turnout across many polling units.

As court battle loom, political observers say the outcome of the case fit shape political alignment in Abuja ahead of 2027 general elections.
