
Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, don talk say e no sure whether people of Iran go eventually remove their current government, even if Israel and United States create the conditions for such change.
Netanyahu talk this one on Thursday during his first press conference since Israel and the United States launch attacks on Iran on February 28, an operation wey spark wider tension and conflict across the Middle East.
According to the Israeli leader, Israel and its allies dey try weaken Iran military structures including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Basij forces through airstrikes.
However, Netanyahu admit say even though dem dey create pressure, e still no guarantee say the Iranian people go overthrow the Islamic Republic government.
“We fit lead person go water, but we no fit force am drink,” Netanyahu talk, while addressing journalists during the briefing.
Threat to new Iranian leadership

Netanyahu also issue warning to the new Iranian leadership after the death of former supreme leader Ali Khamenei during the early stage of the recent military campaign.
According to him, Iran had continued to expand its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programmes despite previous warnings from Israel.
He insist say Israel and the United States act quickly to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons and missiles wey fit threaten not only Israel but also global security.
During the ongoing conflict, Netanyahu say Israel don already target Iran nuclear infrastructure and eliminate one important nuclear scientist.
He also claim say Israel still get “many surprises” as the military campaign continues.
Lebanon warning
The Israeli prime minister also warn the government of Lebanon to take responsibility and disarm the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah.
According to him, if Lebanon fail to act, Israel go be forced to take action itself.
Domestic political tensions
For the same briefing, Netanyahu also react to pressure surrounding his corruption trial and call on Isaac Herzog to grant him a pardon.
The Israeli leader also respond to criticism from Donald Trump, saying the former US president was “speaking from the heart” when he criticised Herzog over the issue.
Despite the ongoing war and political tension, Netanyahu express confidence say his ruling coalition go survive until the next national election expected around September or October.
