For Nigeria politics, Peter Obi Kwankwaso NDC 2027 elections don take new shape as Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso officially join Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of 2027 general elections.

Dis development come shortly afta Obi, wey be former Labour Party presidential candidate for 2023, confirm say e don comot from African Democratic Congress, blaming internal crisis, endless court cases, suspicion and division inside di party.

For statement wey e post for im X page on May 3, Obi tok say im move no be about personal ambition but about di need to build better Nigeria.

“I no dey desperate to be President, Vice President or Senate President. Wetin I want na better society wey safe, wey pipo go fit live without fear and hunger,” Obi talk.

E further explain say many Nigerians dey face silent struggles, insecurity and hardship daily, while di system wey suppose protect dem dey fail.

According to am, di political space don become toxic, full of intimidation, criticism and lack of unity, even among allies.

Obi also make am clear say im exit from ADC no be because of any personal issue with party leaders like David Mark or Atiku Abubakar, but because of structural problems and interference wey dey weaken opposition parties.

E accuse government agents say dem dey create crisis for opposition parties, including Labour Party and now ADC, wey lead to confusion and division.

Despite di challenges, Obi maintain say e still believe say Nigeria fit better with good leadership based on justice, fairness and equal opportunity.
