Di event happen when VP Shettima host PLAN International team wey Helen Idiong lead. Shettima use di chance tell dem say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu government dey serious about supporting girl-child education and gender equality for di country.
He talk say di school feeding programme still remain one of di strong government plan wey dey help many children stay for school.
“In President Bola Tinubu, una get person wey believe in una and ready to support una,” Shettima yarn.
He still hail First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu as example of wetin girl-child fit become if dem get support and opportunity.
After him speech, VP Shettima invite Joy Ogah make she take over him seat for one day to address di nation.
Joy use di moment take talk say make government, NGOs and people for power focus on girl-child education, give free sanitary pad, and make sure girls get clean water, food and safety for school.
She talk say over 10.5 million Nigerian children no dey school, and 60 percent of dem na girls.
“I fit be Vice President for one day, but di fight wey I represent no go end today. Make e continue for our policy, classrooms and budgets,” Joy talk.
