Nnamdi Kanu lawyer, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, don talk say e dey safe but still dey for Kuje Prison, 24 hours after police arrest am for Abuja during the #FreeNnamdiKanu protest.
Ejimakor yarn this one for him X (Twitter) page on Tuesday, say even though he dey okay, the magistrate no gree hear dem matter well before remanding dem till Friday.
“I dey safe and sound but still under custody for Kuje Prison. The Magistrate refuse to hear our side. E insist make dem remand us till Friday,” he write.
The human rights lawyer also accuse authorities say dem waka pass plenty magistrate courts wey dey town go carry him matter go one special court for Kuje.
“For context, make una know say dem bypass other courts for town and go drop us for this one wey dey Kuje,” Ejimakor talk.
Ejimakor na one of the people wey dem arrest on Monday for Abuja protest wey activist Omoyele Sowore lead, to demand Nnamdi Kanu release.
Meanwhile, Bayo Onanuga, wey be President Tinubu adviser on information and strategy, don call make law body sanction Ejimakor, say as lawyer, him no suppose join protest when him client case still dey court.
“I spot Aloy Ejimakor, one of Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyers, among the protesters for Abuja. I wonder wetin he dey think. As lawyer, he suppose sabi say case wey still dey court no need protest,” Onanuga talk.
He add say instead of to dey protest, Kanu legal team suppose focus on how to defend their client well for court since the prosecution side don already close their case.
