The brother of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, don accuse the Abuja Federal High Court say dem refuse issue production warrant wey go allow Sokoto Prison carry Nnamdi Kanu come Abuja for him appeal record settlement.

Prince Emmanuel talk dis one on Thursday as im show copies of official summons wey the court registrar send, order Nnamdi Kanu to appear for the Federal High Court headquarters on November 28, 2025, for settlement of appeal records — one important step under Court of Appeal procedure.

The summons wey dem sign on November 11, 2025, by Principal Registrar I, Ojonugwa Thomas, instruct all parties to show for the Appeal Section by 11:00am for the completion of the process.

But Prince Emmanuel say even with the summons, the court still decline issue the production warrant wey Sokoto Prison need before dem fit move Kanu come Abuja.

According to am:
“Dem send summons for Nnamdi Kanu to appear for court on November 28. But without production warrant, how Sokoto Prison wan bring am?”

The appeal wey carry charge number FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2025 get Nnamdi Kanu as appellant and the Federal Republic of Nigeria as respondent.

Kanu bin receive life imprisonment sentence on November 20, 2025, after Justice James Omotosho convict am for terrorism charges. He dey serve the sentence for Sokoto Prison.
