The swearing-in ceremony happen for Presidential Villa, Abuja, where Muttaqha Darma officially take over leadership of Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.

Before this appointment, Darma serve as Executive Secretary of Petroleum Technology Development Fund.

During screening, the new minister promise to work with National Assembly to solve Nigeria housing problem.
