President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don stress say true judicial independence no fit exist without proper welfare, dignity and security for judicial officers across the country.
The President make the statement on Wednesday during the commissioning of a newly completed 10-unit residential quarters for judges of the Federal High Court for Katampe District, Abuja.

Tinubu, wey Vice President Kashim Shettima represent at the event, say protecting the dignity of judges na important step to keep Nigeria’s justice system free from manipulation, undue influence and compromise.
According to the President, a strong and well-supported judiciary remains one of the most important pillars of good governance and democracy.
He explain say the commissioning of the housing project no be just about unveiling new buildings, but about strengthening the judiciary as a critical institution of government.
“True judicial independence is built on the dignity of our judicial officers. By providing these modern residential quarters, we are ensuring that Federal High Court judges operate from a place of security, comfort and dignity,” Tinubu talk.
The President also noted that his administration has continued to implement wide-ranging reforms aimed at improving the justice sector and ensuring that courts and judicial officers can perform their constitutional duties without unnecessary challenges.
He said government remains committed to creating an enabling environment for the judiciary to function effectively and uphold the rule of law.
Tinubu added that investment in judicial infrastructure and welfare would further strengthen public confidence in the nation’s justice system and support democratic governance.
The newly commissioned quarters are expected to provide improved accommodation and working conditions for judges of the Federal High Court, helping to enhance efficiency and productivity within the judiciary.
The project forms part of ongoing efforts by the Federal Government to modernise critical institutions and deepen democratic governance across Nigeria.
