NNPC Academy don achieve another major milestone after e receive the International Standard Organisation (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification from global certification body, DQS.
The certification na recognition of the academy’s commitment to quality service delivery, operational excellence and continuous improvement in training and human capital development.
Executive Vice President, Business Services for NNPC Limited, Mrs. Sophia Mbakwe, receive the certification from the Director of NNPC Academy, Mrs. Folashade Adekeye, during a presentation ceremony wey happen for NNPC Towers, Abuja.
With this achievement, NNPC Academy don successfully establish, implement and maintain a quality management system wey meets international standards across all its operations and service delivery processes.
The certification process involve comprehensive assessment of the academy’s activities, including documentation reviews, internal audits, management evaluations and corrective action procedures to ensure compliance with global quality requirements.
As part of the certification exercise, members of the NNPC Academy ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Project Team, led by Project Manager, Tongkhir Dewan, also receive Lead Auditor Certificates after successfully completing accredited Lead Auditor Training.
NNPC Academy management describe the certification as a significant step towards strengthening the institution’s reputation as a centre of excellence for learning, capacity building and workforce development within Nigeria’s energy industry.
According to the academy, the achievement will further improve service delivery standards and enhance its ability to provide world-class training programmes that support the growth and transformation of NNPC Limited.
The certification is also expected to boost the academy’s role in developing highly skilled professionals needed to drive NNPC Limited’s commercial objectives and support the long-term growth of Nigeria’s energy sector.
Industry stakeholders say the international recognition places NNPC Academy among leading training institutions committed to global best practices in quality management and professional development.
