The new Authority Chief Executive of Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Rabiu Abdullahi Umar, don visit Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri , and Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, as part of efforts to strengthen regulation and growth for Nigeria oil and gas sector.
During the courtesy visits, Rabiu Umar seek continued support and guidance from the ministers as him begin work to achieve the Authority strategic goals and improve operations for the petroleum industry.
The ministers congratulate am on him appointment and assure am of full support as e take over leadership of the regulatory agency.

The new NMDPRA boss promise to use the available talent and experience inside the agency to improve regulatory performance, encourage innovation and support growth for Nigeria midstream and downstream petroleum sector.
Him also stress the importance of collaboration and strong institutional support to ensure the Authority delivers on its mandate effectively under the current administration.
