Delta Governor Approve Fresh Appointments, Swearing-In Set for July 21
Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, don approve the appointment of two new Honourable Commissioners, one member of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Governing Board and three members of the Delta State Judicial Service Commission.
According to a statement from the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, the newly appointed commissioners are Mr. Brave Oyinkoro Enodeh and Mr. Ogodo Emokiniovo Moses.
The governor also appoint Mr. Cosmas Igbenije as a member of the DESOPADEC Governing Board.
For the Delta State Judicial Service Commission, the governor appoint Joseph Obiananma Ojobu, Esq., Chief James Omanudhowho Obeowou, and Barrister Fun-Ebi Edonyabo as new members.
The SSG announce say all the appointees go take their oath of office on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, by 10:00 a.m. for Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.
The appointments form part of Governor Oborevwori’s efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across Delta State.
