The matter start after Kofa yarn for one online interview say him dey plan leave NNPP and even support ruling party win election for Kano. This kain talk vex NNPP leaders well well.
For press conference wey happen Saturday for Kano, state NNPP chairman, Hashim Dungurawa, announce the expulsion. He call Kofa “weak politician” wey only win election because of Kwankwasiyya movement and NNPP structure.
“If to say he strong, he for don win under APC. But he fail. Na when he join NNPP through Kwankwasiyya he manage enter House of Reps. Now he dey deceive himself say na him strong pass,” Dungurawa blast.
The chairman still accuse Kofa say he no dey pay party dues wey constitution require. He vow say NNPP go carry am go court to collect the money.
Party sources confirm say reconciliation committee bin try settle matter after Kofa appear for Channels TV, but him later interview spoil everything as he openly declare loyalty outside NNPP.
On talk say Kofa fit run back to APC, Dungurawa wave am off, say e no go affect NNPP strength because “Kwankwasiyya still dey kampe under Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.”
