TUC national president, Festus Osifo, and secretary general, Nuhu Toro, talk say:

“Workers never recover from subsidy removal, food price don scatter, dollar dey chase naira up and down. To add new 5% tax go just kill Nigerians finish. We no go gree!”

The union talk clear say if FG no cancel the levy, dem go mobilise workers, civil society, students, markets, churches, mosques, and everybody for massive protest wey fit paralyse the country.

“Enough is enough! Nigerians deserve economic justice, no be endless punishment,” TUC thunder.

For now, TUC don direct all dia state councils and affiliates to dey alert, ready to move once FG insist to go ahead with the plan.
