Dis nationwide campaign go cover pikin dem from 0–14 years for measles and rubella and 0–59 months for polio. Di operation go happen for two stages: Phase 1, wey start today, go cover 20 northern states and Oyo State, while Phase 2go begin for January 2026 for di remaining southern states.
Health workers go waka round with fixed centres, outreach points and house-to-house “sweep teams” to make sure say even pikin dem for bush and far places no go miss out.
Apart from di main vaccines, di programme go also give routine immunization, malaria prevention, and treatment for neglected tropical diseases, all join, to support Nigeria “Primary Health Care Under One Roof” strategy.
