APC Officially Receive Tinubu, Shettima INEC Nomination Forms Ahead of 2027 Election
The All Progressives Congress (APC) don officially receive the completed Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) presidential nomination forms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 General Election.
The nomination forms were formally received on Tuesday by the National Chairman of APC, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, during a ceremony held in Abuja.
President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Political and Other Matters, Hon. Ibrahim Masari, presented the forms on behalf of the President.
The event attracted top leaders of the ruling party, including APC governors led by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Also present were members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC), the party’s caucus in the National Assembly, members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), and other party stakeholders.
The submission of the nomination forms marks another major step in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 presidential election, with President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima expected to fly the party’s flag if they emerge through the party’s nomination process.
