Okonjo-Iweala Deny Viral Post Weh Say She Blast Tinubu About Insecurity

Di fake post wey go viral carry headline “Trump didn’t ‘hit’ us – our leaders did” and e claim say Okonjo-Iweala accuse Nigerian leaders of talking too much without action to stop banditry and killings.

E even claim say she tell President Tinubu make he “stop damage control speeches” and “secure di people.”

But Okonjo-Iweala don clear di air for her verified X (Twitter) page on Saturday, talk say di message na complete lie.

She write, “Beware, this story wey dey go round for WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook na fake! We don start action! Di person wey write am no even sabi spell my name.”

Di WTO boss still para for di people wey dey use her name lie, say dem suppose show face instead of hiding behind her identity.
“Whichever coward do this nonsense make write am with their own name, no hide behind mine or anybody else! Scammers and 419ers, stop!” she warn.

Her reaction come at di same time when one post from former U.S. President Donald Trump don cause wahala online. Trump claim say Christians dey suffer for Nigeria and even talk say America fit “go in guns blazing” if di killings no stop.

President Tinubu quickly respond, talk say di Nigerian government dey fully committed to religious freedom and national peace.

He remind di world say di Nigerian Constitution give everybody right to worship and live free without fear, and call Trump talk “false narrative” wey no represent Nigeria’s reality.

Tinubu also promise say him government go continue to work with di U.S. and other global partners to promote unity, peace and protect all religious groups for di country.
