Former Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum, don open fresh chapter for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) wahala as im accuse dem of mismanaging the FIFA money wey dem give Nigeria to prepare for the 2023 Women World Cup.

According to Waldrum, FIFA release $960,000 (about ₦1.4b) for October 2022 make Super Falcons take prepare well for Australia/New Zealand World Cup — but di coach say NFF no use the money how dem suppose use am.

Waldrum talk for one viral video for X say di team suffer lack of proper camp, poor travel arrangement and small technical staff because NFF no provide the necessary support.

The American coach remember how Super Falcons go Japan for friendly match without proper plan. Some players reach Japan the same morning of the game after 16 hours flight.

“If Nigeria get the money, why we no get camp for November?”
“Five of my starting players arrive night before match,” he talk.

Waldrum also reveal say FIFA dey help countries wey no get money for business-class tickets. Dem fit pay and deduct am later, so NFF no suppose use “no money” excuse.

FIFA allow up to 22 technical crew members for Women World Cup teams, but Nigeria travel with only 11. Waldrum say this affect Nigeria’s performance because the team no get scouts or analyst.

“I no get person to scout teams for Australia. Everything na video I dey watch online,” he explain.

He compare the situation to how the US get scouts across Europe and Australia dey monitor opponents.

These allegations don add to the long list of wahala wey NFF dey face as Nigerians continue dey question how football money dey take vanish.
