The katakata wey dey shake PDP don reach new level as FCT Minister Nyesom Wike host BoT meeting for him government residence on Sunday.
People wey show face include former Abia governor Okezie Ikpeazu, ex-deputy speaker Uche Nwuche, PDP Acting National Chairman Abdulrahman Mohammed, National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu, plus BoT members from all over Nigeria.
For him opening talk, BoT Chairman Senator Mao Ohuabunwa beg members make dem drop sentiment and hold the party well.
He yarn say BoT don dey make progress on caretaker committees wey go set ground for congresses for states wey never hold am.
Ohuabunwa talk say some party members wey dey cause trouble don chop sanction, because PDP no go allow anybody scatter am from inside.
He add:
“Wetyn we dey do now na to defend PDP constitution, repair the party and bring back unity. BoT na the moral compass of PDP.”
Two Factions Still Dey Drag Chairmanship
As e be now, PDP still get two groups wey claim say dem dey in charge:
Wike group with Abdulrahman Mohammed,
Turaki group wey Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammed dey back.
Up till now, no court don talk who be the real PDP leader, and the party still dey waka inside uncertainty.
The crisis wey start after PDP lose 2023 presidential election still dey grow, and e dey raise tension about the party’s future.
