Maritime Editors Don Knock Sanwo-Olu Over Him Talk Against NPA Plan For Eastern Ports
Wahala don burst again for maritime sector as League of Maritime Editors (LOME) fire Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for statement wey dem say he make against Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) push to grow operations for Warri, Onne and Calabar ports.
NPA don dey encourage shippers make dem begin use the southeastern ports instead of packing everything for Lagos. The heavy load for Lagos ports don cause traffic, corruption and wahala wey no gree finish, even with the electronic call-up system wey still dey get plenty problems.
For statement wey carry signature of LOME President, Mrs Remi Itie, and Secretary General, Mr Felix Kumuyi, the editors say Sanwo-Olu no get right to dey block NPA plan to develop other ports.
Dem describe the governor action as Lagos wanting to hold Nigeria economy for chest.

LOME say decentralisation na the way forward, and make Lagos no dey fear development for Warri, Onne and Calabar.
