ABUJA — NNPC Exploration & Production (NNPC E&P), di upstream subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Company, don record im highest daily crude oil production for 36 years, reach 355,000 barrels per day (bpd) on December 1, 2025.

NNPC E&P talk say im average daily output don grow 52 per cent since 2023, wey dey rise from 203,000 bpd to 312,000 bpd for 2025. Di improvement na because of better operational system, proper asset management and structured field development.
“On December 1, 2025, NNPC E&P don hit record 355,000 barrels per day, di highest output since 1989. Dis milestone dey show how we dey transform upstream operations with discipline and efficiency,” di statement talk.

NNPC CEO, Bayo Ojulari, talk say di achievement show say Nigeria energy revival no be dream again, e dey happen for real. E add say di record production dey bring di country nearer to di presidential target of 2 million bpd by 2027 and 3 million bpd by 2030.
