National Executive Committee (NEC) of Accord Party don reject one factional governorship primary wey some people claim say dem conduct for Osun State, say di exercise no be valid at all.
For statement wey party release on Sunday, NEC talk say di so-called primary no follow party rules and NEC never approve am.
According to di party leadership, only primaries wey NEC organise or supervise na im Accord Party go recognise. Any other one wey faction or individuals carry do without approval no get meaning.
NEC warn party members and di public make dem no recognise or deal with any candidate wey come out from di disputed primary, add say anybody wey involve fit face disciplinary action.
Accord Party also reassure im members for Osun say dem dey committed to internal democracy, fairness and transparency, and say di party go conduct proper and recognised governorship primary at di right time.
Dis development come as political activities dey increase ahead of di next governorship election for Osun State.
