NNPC Monthly Revenue Drop 14% to N4.36trn for November 2025

Despite revenue fall, NNPC profit jump to N502bn as oil production still below OPEC target

Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) don report say im monthly revenue drop by 14.17 per cent for November 2025, fall from N5.078 trillion for October to N4.358 trillion.

According to NNPC monthly report wey dem release on Wednesday, even though revenue fall, the company profit after tax still rise by 12.3 per cent to N502 billion for November, compared to N447 billion wey dem record the previous month.

The report also show say NNPC make statutory payments of N967 billion to government for October, push total remittance from January to October 2025 to N12.117 trillion.

For oil production, the national oil company talk say crude oil and condensate production average 1.6 million barrels per day for the month. Out of this figure, crude oil production alone stand at 1.36 million barrels per day, wey dey far below Nigeria OPEC allocation of 1.5mbpd.

Total oil production also fall short of the 2.06 million barrels per day target wey Federal Government project for the 2025 budget.

On gas matter, NNPC report say gas production reduce slightly by 0.04 per cent to 6,968 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) for November, down from 6,997mmscf/d the previous month.

Giving update on major gas pipeline projects, NNPC disclose say Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) gas pipeline don reach 96 per cent completion, while Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas project don hit 90 per cent completion.

NNPC explain say the poor production performance for November largely come from planned maintenance work across key assets like Esso-Erha, Stardeep-Agbami and Renaissance-Estuary Area. The company add say production recovery dey expected by end of December 2025, even as delay still dey on WAEP first oil.

The company say e dey work closely with partners to complete all 2025 scheduled turnaround maintenance (TAM) and production initiatives from JV, PSC and NEPL assets, so dem go ready to deliver the 2026 production plan.

NNPC also promise say dem go intensify collaboration with partners into 2026 to boost production performance, maximise infrastructure uptime and maintain high maintenance standards across all oil and gas assets.
