Apart from di leadership shake-up, APC still increase di number of people wey dey inside di committee from 73 to 90 members, say na to carry more party stakeholders along as preparations for di national convention dey hot up.
Some of di new faces wey join di committee include Senator Barry Mpigi and oda big men inside di ruling party.
According to APC, di changes follow di party revised list for di 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee. Di party talk say dem do di reconstitution to balance zoning arrangement and oda strategic reasons as dem dey plan towards di national convention.
Party sources say di move show APC seriousness to put all political interests together and avoid crisis ahead of di 2026 convention.
