During the 103rd NEC meeting wey hold, party appoint Kabiru Tanimu Turaki as Interim National Chairman and Toafeek Arapaja as National Secretary, alongside other members of interim National Working Committee.

According to reports, the meeting wey Board of Trustees (BoT) support, get attendance of two-thirds of NEC members, and dem swear in the new executives immediately after appointment.
