
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) don hold stakeholders engagement with members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) to sensitise Nigerian youths on credible recruitment process into the four agencies under the board.
The one-day engagement happen on Monday, May 25, 2026, as part of government efforts to promote transparency, inclusiveness and youth participation in public service recruitment.

Secretary to the Board, Major General A.M. Jibrin (Rtd), while speaking during the programme, assure Nigerian youths say the board remain committed to transparent, fair and merit-based recruitment process.
According to am, the recruitment exercise go cover the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Immigration Service.
Jibrin explain say the sensitisation programme na to educate youths on the official recruitment procedures, application requirements and dangers of fraud and fake information during recruitment exercises.
He urge applicants to follow only official channels and avoid scammers wey dey deceive desperate job seekers.
The programme also feature interactive session where youth representatives ask questions concerning eligibility criteria, recruitment transparency and equal opportunities for qualified Nigerians.
Members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria commend the board for organising the engagement and appreciate the opportunity to interact directly with management of the agency.
The board later reaffirm commitment to continuous stakeholders engagement and promised to strengthen public trust through accountability and openness in all recruitment activities.
