Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) don confirm say dem don file appeal after FIFA Disciplinary Committee reject their petition against DR Congo National Football Team over player eligibility issue.
The case come from the 2026 World Cup play-off match wey happen for Rabat, Morocco last November, where Nigeria lose 4-3 on penalties.
After the match, NFF raise concern say some DR Congo players no qualify properly, alleging irregularities for how dem take issue passports give them.
But after months of review, FIFA finally reject Nigeria complaint. Despite that, NFF say dem no go give up, as dem don officially submit appeal to follow due process.

Meanwhile, FIFA also fine both Nigeria and DR Congo over fan behaviour during the same match.
Nigeria Football Federation receive fine of 1,000 Swiss francs after Nigerian supporters throw objects enter pitch, wey violate FIFA disciplinary rules.
On the other hand, Congolese Football Association pay higher fine of 5,000 Swiss francs because their fans use laser pointers during the game.
FIFA explain say the punishment depend on the seriousness of each offence and confirm say both sides still get right to appeal the decision.
