Lagos receives 24 car trains to boost Red Line as Lagos State government take delivery of new trains to improve rail transport and reduce stress for commuters.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu confirm say the new trains go increase capacity, reduce waiting time and make daily movement easier for residents.
“This new trains go help improve service and make commuting smoother for Lagosians,” the governor talk.
The Red Line rail project, wey start operation in February 2024, cover about 37 kilometres from Agbado for Ogun State to Oyingbo for Lagos Island.
The rail line pass through major areas like Ikeja, Oshodi, Mushin and Yaba, serving as important transport option for busy parts of the state.
With this latest addition, Lagos government say dem still dey committed to building modern and reliable transport system for the state.
The move also expected to reduce pressure on road transport and improve overall traffic situation for Lagos.
