Governor of Osun State don officially flag off im re-election campaign and welcome hundreds of defectors from APC, ADC and other opposition political parties into the ruling Accord Party ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

Speaking during the campaign launch for Osogbo, the state capital, the governor express confidence say people of Osun go once again vote for continuity, progress and good governance when dem go polls next month.

The governor thank thousands of supporters, including workers, pensioners, youths, women groups, farmers, artisans, unions, associations and religious organisations wey gather for the event to show support for the administration.

According to am, since assuming office in 2022, the government don fulfil many of the promises wey e make to the people through massive infrastructure development, reduction of state debt, improvement in healthcare services, education reforms, water sector revitalisation, agricultural mechanisation and promotion of the digital economy.

The governor also highlight efforts by the administration to improve fiscal transparency and accountability in governance.

He assure residents say the next phase of governance go focus on consolidating existing achievements through a renewed Five-Point Agenda centred on citizens’ welfare, infrastructure development, agro-industrial growth, affordable healthcare and education, as well as job creation for the people.

The governor further urge supporters to remain committed to the party’s vision, insisting say Accord remains fully prepared for the governorship election.

“Accord go dey ballot paper, we go vote, our votes go count and by the grace of God, victory and continuity go prevail,” the governor stated.

The campaign launch attracted large crowds from different parts of the state, as party faithful and new members pledged support for the governor’s bid to secure another term in office.
