
United Nigeria Airlines suffers another bird strike as one of its aircraft was grounded after incident happen during landing for Abuja.
The airline confirm say the aircraft, Airbus A320-200, wey fly from Port Harcourt, get bird strike as e dey land for Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
According to statement from airline spokesperson Chibuile Uloka, the bird strike affect the nose of the aircraft, but no passenger was harmed.
The airline quickly withdraw the plane from operation to carry out full safety checks and maintenance.
This latest incident come same day another bird strike involve one of their CRJ-900 aircraft, bringing the total number to six cases between January and April 2026.
“Safety remain our top priority, and we no go take any risk,” the airline talk.
