Ndume yarn say:
“Make una no dey use media wahala spoil Dangote name. Na dialogue go settle this matter, no be fight or blackmail.”
Dis intervention come after NUPENG go strike, close depots and accuse Dangote Refinery say e no gree allow truck drivers join union as Trade Union Act provide. DAPPMAN too accuse refinery say e dey sell cheaper fuel to foreign traders pass wetin e dey give local marketers, wey dem claim go spoil competition.
Ndume no gree with the attacks. E call am “poisonous media narrative” wey dey paint Dangote bad.
E remind Nigerians say before Dangote risk him money build refinery, government don give licenses to many Nigerians to build refineries since 2002, 2007 and even under Buhari time, but none of dem build anything serious.
“Those wey dey parade themselves as importers today no seize di chance to build refinery. Now dem wan join hand accuse Dangote of monopoly,” Ndume talk.
The senator stress say:
“Our common goal suppose be to balance labour rights with national development, no be to make ordinary Nigerians suffer because of power tussle.”
