Activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, don visit former President Goodluck Jonathan for Abuja to talk about the wahala wey surround the detention of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Kanu don dey for DSS custody as e still dey face terrorism charges for court.

Sowore talk say the visit na part of im plan ahead of the October 20 march go Aso Rock Presidential Villa, wey go demand Kanu’s unconditional release.

For im post for X (Twitter), Sowore say Jonathan agree say the matter need urgent and fair solution “for the sake of peace and national healing.”

E thank Jonathan for show leadership and concern, and talk say the former president don promise to discuss the matter with President Bola Tinubu soon.

Sowore talk say Jonathan don join other Nigerians wey dey call for justice for Nnamdi Kanu — people like Atiku Abubakar, Femi Falana (SAN), and Shehu Sani.

According to am, “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu still dey detention because e stand for the just cause to end marginalisation. Other activists wey face similar political cases don get freedom, so Kanu too suppose free.”

Sowore still call on other leaders like Peter Obi, Charles Soludo, Alex Otti, Peter Mbah, Hope Uzodimma, Oby Ezekwesili, and Ohanaeze Ndigbo to join voice for justice and freedom.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar don already support the planned march, talk say na “defence of human rights” and true democracy.
