Former NPC Chairman Nasir Kwarra don complete him five-year tenure, hand over to Muhammad Dattijo as acting chairman until Aminu Yusuf take over.

Chairman of National Population Commission (NPC), Hon. Nasir Kwarra, don officially finish him five-year work as oga of the commission. He talk say under him leadership, the commission don make progress for plenty areas like data collection, digitising Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS), and preparing well for the upcoming National Population and Housing Census.

Kwarra talk say all these success na because of teamwork and professionalism wey everybody show.

Kwarra wey former President Muhammadu Buhari appoint for 2020, lead the NPC during one of the most important times for Nigeria — as the country prepare for her first census in almost 20 years.

The last census happen for 2006, so the next one dey very important for national planning and development.

Under Kwarra, NPC don move census process enter digital age with better mapping and enumeration system to make data correct and reliable.

Even though the 2023 census no hold because of government change, the new chairman wey go soon enter — Aminu Yusuf — go continue from where dem stop to make sure Nigeria complete the long-awaited census wey go help better planning for future.
