President Bola Tinubu don hail security operatives for the sharp response wey lead to the rescue of the 24 schoolgirls wey terrorists kidnap for Maga, Kebbi State last Monday. The girls regain freedom on Tuesday after eight days for kidnappers hand.
The attack for Kebbi na part of the recent wave of mass kidnappings across some northern states. For Kwara, 38 church worshippers wey dem kidnap for Eruku don also regain freedom. For Niger State, CAN chairman talk say about 50 students wey people think say dem miss for Catholic school don later show for their parents’ house.
For him Facebook statement, Tinubu thank security forces and the affected communities for their courage.
“All the schoolgirls abducted in Kebbi State have been safely rescued. I must commend our security forces for their swift response, and the parents and community for their strength during this period,” the President talk.
Tinubu also don order full security cordon around forests inside Kwara State. He direct Air Force make dem continue nonstop surveillance for remote areas, and make dem work hand-in-hand with ground troops to track, isolate and finish any hostile group. The order cover Kebbi and Niger axis too.
He beg communities make dem report any suspicious movement as government dey move strong to secure all the affected places.
