The organisation say the new rollout follow the success of the pilot phase. For the first phase, CrediCorp work with E-Finance Company, with technology support from Credlock, to give over 1,000 Nigerians chance to get smartphones on easy credit — many for the first time. Good repayment record show say Nigerians really need this kind support.
Now, CrediCorp wan scale the programme well-well, target over 15,000 Nigerians wey go fit collect smartphone or laptop wey go boost their productivity, income and digital inclusion.
To make the programme big, CrediCorp dey work with E-Finance Company as Participating Financial Institution, while Credlock supply the technology wey make device-collateral system secure and easy. With this arrangement, Nigerians fit apply, finance and collect their device without heavy upfront payment.
CrediCorp Managing Director, Uzoma Nwagba, say this new programme na natural step for the organisation.
