Big political movement shelle for Rivers State on Friday as Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, lead 15 other lawmakers leave PDP enter APC.
Amaewhule announce the movement during plenary, talk say na the serious wahala and division wey dey inside PDP push dem to find new direction.
The Speaker yarn say him don write officially to him ward chairman tell am say him don commot for PDP. He add say he don start process to collect him APC party card.
According to am: “My people, APC na my new party. I go do everything wey I suppose do make dem give me my APC card quick. As I dey talk now, I be member of APC and I happy say I fit join hand with Mr President. Baba dey try for this country.”
Amaewhule still hail President Bola Tinubu, talk say the President “mean well for Nigeria” and don show “plenty love to Rivers State.”
This movement don scatter the political calculations for the Rivers House of Assembly and e fit cause new wahala for the state politics.
