Background Of The Conflict
The tension between United States, Israel and Iran don last for decades.
The crisis start after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, when Iran remove the Western-backed government and replace am with Islamic leadership based on Shia principles.
Recently, the conflict rise again months after a 12-day war between the countries, when the US and Israel carry out airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military locations.
Iran respond immediately by firing more than 150 ballistic missiles and over 100 drones toward Israel.
Later, a ceasefire wey Donald Trump and Qatar help broker on June 24, 2025, temporarily stop the fighting.
But disagreements over Iran nuclear programme, sanctions and regional influence still remain, which many observers say contribute to the latest escalation.
Police Yet To React
As the protests continue for several Nigerian states, police authorities never release official statements about the demonstrations.
Spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force in Lagos, Abimbola Adebisi, say she go first contact the Divisional Police Officer for Maryland area before giving full report.
Police officers for other states where protests happen never respond to enquiries as at the time of filing this report.
