Troops of Operation Hadin Kai don kill three top commanders of ISWAP and more than 80 fighters after dem repel heavy terrorist attack for Mallam Fatori Borno, inside Borno State.
According to statement from the Joint Task Force spokesperson, Sanni Uba, the attack happen early Wednesday morning as terrorists launch coordinated assault from different directions.
The commanders wey security forces kill include Abdulrahman Gobara, Mallam Ba Yuram and Abou Ayyuba, wey reportedly lead the failed operation.
Troops Crush Attack With Strong Resistance
Military say the insurgents come in large numbers and even use armed drones, but troops wey already prepare for the attack respond with heavy firepower and strong tactics.
With support from air component of Operation Hadin Kai and assistance from Nigerien air forces, soldiers successfully defeat the attackers.
More than 80 terrorists die during the battle, while many others run away.
Weapons Recovered
After the operation, troops recover plenty weapons and ammunition, including dozens of rifles, machine guns, RPG launchers, bombs, IEDs and communication gadgets.
Few Casualties Recorded
Despite the intensity of the fight, military confirm say only four soldiers sustain injuries, and dem don already stabilise them.

The army say the success don seriously weaken terrorist operations for the area and scatter their command structure.
Dem also dismiss claims say troops dey overwhelmed, insisting say security forces still dey fully in control of all locations.
