Former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, don dump him party and set to join African Democratic Congress (ADC), as talks of alliance with Peter Obi gather momentum ahead of 2027 general election.
Sources from both camps confirm say discussions dey ongoing and e fit lead to joint presidential ticket between the two political heavyweights.
Move to ADC Don Set
Kwankwaso expected to officially declare for African Democratic Congress (ADC), where former Senate President David Mark and ex-Osun governor Rauf Aregbesola go receive am.
He go likely join the party with former Kano deputy governor, Aminu Gwarzo.
Before now, Kwankwaso don meet with top politicians like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as part of wider consultations.
He Don Resign from NNPP
For statement wey he release on Sunday, Kwankwaso confirm say he don resign from New Nigeria People’s Party(NNPP) with immediate effect.
