Kwankwaso, NDC Kano Crisis Resolution, party leadership unity don take center stage as Rabiu Kwankwaso meet with Hussaini Mairiga to settle lingering disagreement for Kano chapter of Nigeria Democratic Congress.
According to Mairiga, wey confirm the meeting on Tuesday, the engagement include key stakeholders for the party and focus mainly on leadership structure and internal crisis wey don cause tension for Kano.
However, after the meeting, Mairiga announce say all issues don resolve peacefully. He add say the party don agree to move forward together, while dem also recognise Kwankwaso as leader for Kano State.
“We get fruitful discussion with Kwankwaso and other stakeholders. All lingering issues don settle amicably for unity and progress,” Mairiga talk.
Furthermore, he call on party members to remain united and work together for growth of the party, stressing say the resolution mark fresh beginning for NDC in Kano.
Meanwhile, the crisis start after Rabiu Kwankwaso defect join NDC alongside Peter Obi, a move wey raise concern about control of party structure.
Initially, disagreement over leadership arrangement cause tension, as the state executives resist attempt to hand over control, leading to separate meetings wey no produce agreement.
In addition, reports say planned state congress suspension worsen suspicion among members, as some believe say leadership restructuring dey planned behind the scene.
