
Fresh wahala don burst for African Democratic Congress (ADC) as former Senate President David Mark lead party leadership go court to challenge decision by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
INEC bin remove the names of David Mark as National Chairman and Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary from its official portal, following Court of Appeal order wey cause serious confusion for the party.
But Mark-led leadership no gree, as dem don approach Federal High Court for Abuja, dey ask make court cancel INEC action and restore their names back.
Dem argue say INEC misinterpret the court order, and the decision don create leadership vacuum plus serious political tension inside the party.
The case don already drag through different courts, as Court of Appeal earlier talk say make all parties maintain “status quo,” but INEC use that one take remove the leadership from record.

Mark legal team, led by Senior Advocate Sulaiman Usman, say the action no correct and fit scatter party structure if court no intervene quickly.
Dem also ask court make dem fast-track the case because the crisis dey affect party activities and create confusion for leadership.
🗣️ PDP, ADC Leaders Meet Over Democracy Concerns
Meanwhile, top opposition leaders from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and ADC don meet to discuss the growing pressure on opposition parties.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and other leaders attend the meeting.

According to PDP chieftain Tanimu Turaki, the discussion focus on how to protect Nigeria democracy and strengthen opposition unity.
