Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, don officially resign from him position, wey Ministry confirm on Monday.
The resignation come as Nigeria still dey face security wahala for different states. Badaru write letter give Presidency, talk say na personal reasons make him wan step down.
One source for the Ministry yarn say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don receive the letter and go soon start consultations to choose new Defence Minister. The Ministry talk say all ongoing military and defence operations no go stop because of the resignation.
Political observers talk say Badaru resignation fit affect some security plans, but government don promise say dem go continue the fight against insecurity across the country.
No new minister don yet, but Presidency dey expected to announce new appointment in the next few days.
