Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, don appoint Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Dr. Nkechi Eze, as the first Director for the new Directorate of Force Medical Services wey dem just create for inside Police Force.

For one statement wey Force PRO, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, drop on Thursday, he talk say the new appointment follow the upgrade of the Police Medical Section to full Directorate level.

Hundeyin yarn say the move na to make sure police people for every corner of the country fit get better and quick medical care.

Egbetokun still hail AIG Eze for her appointment and tell am make she use her plenty experience take turn the Directorate into example of excellence for healthcare matter inside the Force.

According to Hundeyin, “AIG Nkechi Eze na correct doctor, dental surgeon and administrator wey don serve for over 27 years. She come from Umuahia for Abia State but her hometown na Agbudu, Udi LGA for Enugu State. She study Dental Surgery for University of Ife (now OAU, Ile-Ife) and get Master’s in Public Health from University of Benin.”

He add say Eze don serve for different Police commands like Oyo, Ekiti, Rivers, Abuja and Lagos, and she don help improve the health and welfare of plenty police officers.

Egbetokun talk say the new Directorate go help boost police morale, welfare and productivity — because when police body and mind strong, dem fit work better.
