Finance Ministry talk say the system na part of plan to tighten control and stop loophole wey people dey use thief public money.
The FTR join body with another new setup wey dem call Central Billing System (CBS) — wey go make all govment service charges get one standard price. Both of dem go work together inside one big digital network wey dem call Revenue Optimisation and Assurance Platform (RevOp) wey don start since August 1, 2025.
RevOp go help govment see revenue wey dey enter from ministries and agencies live and direct, and e go reconcile the money automatically between Treasury and those agencies.
Govment yarn say, “We wan make sure say every naira wey belong to Nigeria enter account, balance well, and e no miss road.”
If e work well, dis FTR go help Nigeria catch more money wey dey miss, stop fake receipts, and boost people confidence say govment dey transparent. E fit even make people begin pay tax by themselves without wahala.
