Di Chairman of Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (RSUBEB), Sam Ogeh, announce di governor decision on Tuesday.
Ogeh explain say di move dey in line with Fubara promise to fix di manpower gap for primary and junior secondary schools across Rivers State.

“In fulfilment of him promise to bridge the manpower gap for public schools, His Excellency don approve di appointment of new teachers. As part of di plan, he don direct say make dem revalidate di 1,000 teachers wey dem recruit for 2023.”
Ogeh talk say all di affected teachers must report go RSUBEB State Office for Elechi Beach, Port Harcourt, on Wednesday for di revalidation.
