Di protesters wey gather under di name Concerned Lawyers and Citizens Network (CLCN) yan say di money wey waka comot na “economic treason”. Dem talk say Kyari betray Nigeria economic future and na im make fuel scarcity and heavy import of petrol still dey worry di country.
Barr. Theophilus Ojonugwa, wey be spokesperson for di Network, blast Kyari say e dey pose like “statesman” while ordinary Nigerians dey suffer.
“No be just financial crime be dis. Na insult to human dignity and sabotage of national development,”Ojonugwa talk.
Di group talk say di $4bn wey vanish fit don build schools, equip hospitals and create plenty jobs. Dem even point finger say company wey belong to Kyari in-law na one of di channels for money laundering.
Ojonugwa still warn say:
“Justice suppose blind. If EFCC pamper Kyari, e go confirm say Nigeria na safe haven for looters.”
CLCN demand make EFCC arrest Kyari sharp-sharp, prosecute all him accomplices and seize every asset wey join the wahala. Dem also dey call for independent forensic audit from international firms to show transparency.
Dem even throway direct message give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, beg am to use Kyari case as turning point for him anti-corruption promise.
“If dem invest that $4bn well, Nigeria for dey self-sufficient in refining today,” Ojonugwa lament.
Finally, di protesters warn EFCC say Nigerians go hold dem responsible if dem fail to act, and encourage citizens make dem no keep quiet.
“The destiny of our nation dey inside di courage of di people,” Ojonugwa conclude.
