Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo don tell African youths say dem no be only leaders for tomorrow again, but leaders for today. Obasanjo talk this one for Presidential Youth Mentorship Retreat wey hold for Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Obasanjo urge youths to use their numbers and energy take change Africa for better. Him talk say if youths no take leadership now, old leaders go destroy the future. “You are leaders of today because if you leave tomorrow in the hands of leaders who are there today, they will destroy it; you won’t have your tomorrow,” Obasanjo talk.
The event wey carry theme “Africa and the Conflicts in Europe and the Middle East” attract youths from Nigeria and other African countries. Retired Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Martin Luther Agwai, also talk say Nigerian leaders need to do more to fight insecurity, especially after U.S. President Donald Trump talk say him fit take military action if killings of Christians no stop.
