Former Edo State governor and current senator, Adams Oshiomhole, don talk say na only people wey no like Goodluck Jonathan go wish make him contest for president again come 2027.
Oshiomhole yarn dis one for Channels TV Sunday Politics on October 5, where e advise Jonathan make e just rest and enjoy the respect wey Nigerians still give am instead of entering another presidential wahala.
According to am, even when Jonathan be president for 2015, e still lose to APC, so now wey PDP don weak scatter, e no see where Jonathan go start from again.
“The South-South no be PDP again. Where e wan start from?” Oshiomhole ask.
Rumour don fly say Jonathan dey plan to run again — either with PDP or ADC, one new opposition coalition wey dey form. But Jonathan never talk anything officially.
Meanwhile, people for APC don already start to dey push for Tinubu second term, talk say the president deserve another chance to finish wetin e don start.
Presidential aide Bayo Onanuga don even talk say Tinubu no dey fear anybody wey wan contest, but e call the opposition movement “premature desperation.”
Some tori sef dey fly say Jonathan fit join African Democratic Congress (ADC), where people like Atiku Abubakarand Nasir El-Rufai dey gather force. But Atiku don deny say e go step down for anybody.
El-Rufai even talk for Channels TV say “Tinubu go come third for 2027 election”, claim say the race go hot well well.
But Oshiomhole no gree, e talk say people wey dey push Jonathan to contest again no mean well for am.
“Dem just wan spoil the small peace wey Jonathan still get,” Oshiomhole add.
