ABUJA – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don give posthumous national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) to the four late Ogoni leaders – Albert Badey, Edward Kobani, Theophilus Orage and Samuel Orage – wey pipo dey call Ogoni Four.
The ceremony happen Wednesday for Presidential Villa, Abuja, when Tinubu dey receive report from the Ogoni Consultations Committee.
Tinubu beg Ogoni people make dem drop division wey don last for decades, embrace peace and unity, and move forward as one voice.
“Make their memory continue to inspire unity, courage and purpose among us. I dey beg Ogoni people across all classes, communities and generations to close ranks, put this dark chapter behind una and march forward as one,” the President yarn.
The oga of the nation still yan say him government dey ready to support peace, environmental cleaning and economic development for Ogoniland. He confirm say plans dey ground to bring oil production back for the area.

President Tinubu remind Nigerians say since 2022, the operatorship of Ogoni oil field don already dey NNPCL and their partners hand, and him government go build on top that decision.
